In late 2021, I was thrilled to complete my first book sprint, a 5 day intense experience, at the request of well-known Bitcoin core developer, Jimmy Song. The sprint brought a diverse group of 8 Bitcoin advocates together.
The end result was the Bitcoin and the American Dream book, a powerful primer on Bitcoin for elected leaders and policy makers.
Although the group members had different races, generations, geographical locations and political parties, what we did have in common is that we all believe that Bitcoin is good for America.
This is an educational book for government officials to deepen their understanding of the power and promise of Bitcoin.

Book Overview
For many, there is no American Dream, only a nightmare. Financial stress and debt burdens weigh heavily. The system just feels rigged.

Amidst this despair, Americans are finding hope in an unlikely place.
With the help of a new, alternative financial system, they are finding that they can now save for the long term. While some in Washington see a technology to be feared and dismissed, Americans see Bitcoin as an opportunity. For them, Bitcoin is proving a valuable tool for financial freedom and agency.
Across America, a broad and diverse coalition is forming. They believe Bitcoin unlocks the door to a revitalized American dream. This book is about that dream.
